Ester Park serves as the Director of Promise Success, a K-12 initiative to combat chronic absenteeism and improve student attendance and engagement, and the AmeriCorps Program Manager. In her respective role(s), she is responsible for but not limited to: designing professional development and capacity-building efforts as set forth by AmeriCorps and other internal measures; tracking programmatic output data for data collection and continuous improvement; and supporting anchor partner, Newark Trust for Education, in relation to the K-12 Collaborative Action Network (CAN).

Prior to joining SWPN, Ester worked in the non-profit and government sectors primarily focused on promoting equity and access in education — most recently at the NYC Department of Education, Office of Community Schools supporting students and families in temporary housing. With over a decade of experience, Ester leverages her experiences as a former educator, post-secondary advisor, and nonprofit director to inform her work at SWPN.
