Community Revitalization is Building a Stronger South Ward
The Family Village initiative aims to provide quality affordable housing to residents of the South Ward community.
The program’s goal is to revitalize the neighborhood by buying vacant, abandoned, distressed, foreclosed properties and rehabilitate them into clean, functional, stable, and cost effective living solutions.

Community Revitalization Partners
Community Asset Preservation Corporation
Through the Family Village- CAPC will provide 100 affordable housing units to low-income families living and with children attending schools in the South Ward. This project will be unique in that after a 15-year rental term, tenants will be afforded the opportunity to purchase their homes at below the estimated value at sale; meaning they will purchase a home with built in equity.
Clinton Hill Community Action
A community development organization to work with residents and stakeholders to revitalize the neighborhood and improve the quality of life for residents. Clinton Hill Community Action take its cues from residents in setting priorities, understanding the issues, and working together toward solutions.
